It’ll be a hectic day at the Woodlands tomorrow (9th December) as three Fylde teams will be in action. Whilst the 1st team take on high flying Darlington Mowden Park, the Hawks and Saracens also face important contests.

The Hawks welcome old friends and rivals Sedgley Park 2nds (ko 14.15) and they’ll look to build on last week’s excellent 10-55 win at Sale FC. The games between the two teams are always keenly fought and, with the Hawks in 6th place in the Premier League and Sedgley in 5th, then it’s likely to be another close contest.

The Hawks squad is:

15 Staney Graham; 14 Sam Fisher, 13 John Taylor, 12 George Brookes, 11 Jake Foster; 10 Danny Carlton, 9 Jake Christmann; 1 Adam Joyner, 2 Blake Wilkinson, 3 Joshua Nathan, 4 Karl Capstick, 5 Gregor Aitken (c), 6 Tom Steer, 7 Jamie Brookes, 8 James Torkington.
16 Ben Gill, 17 Rob Taylor, 18 Christian Williams.
Support Crew: Ian Pearson, Dan Orwin, Paul Moran, Jon, Karen Swarbrick.

Fylde Saracens, despite taking a reduced squad to Broughton Park last Saturday, came away with a close 6-10 victory. They will look to take that form into this week’s contest when they welcome Northwich 2nds to the Woodlands (ko 14.15). The Sarries are in 8th place in Division One whilst their opponents are in 12th.

Their squad is:

15 Iain Hollingsworth; 14 Jack Andrew Jones, 13 Gavin Kelly, 12 Karl Etherington, 11 Oggie; 10 David William Reed (c), 9 Kyle Macauley; 1 Tom Fox, 2 Richard Appleyard, 3 Max Moore, 4 The Aussie Jimmy Lord, 5 Mark Capstick, 6 Tom Hodgkins, 7 Luke Clitheroe, 8 Jamie Griffin.

16 Jay Harrison, 17 Adam Hiles, 18 Elliot Newsham.
