Finally, we have received the government news we have all wanted to hear and there is light at the end of this long tunnel! We will be opening our doors on 12th April for our guests to sit outside and enjoy a well deserved drink.
Fylde RFC would like to reach out and thank our members again for their continuous membership throughout this difficult time. The Club could not prosper without such a generous community so having loyal members plays an extremely important part in the Club’s success as we look forward to our 102nd season in 2021-22.
To those members who have yet to renew, please consider doing so to help us as this is so important as a source of income.
We are feeling very positive about the future and are working hard to ensure we are ready for all our members (and non-members!) to finally enjoy a long awaited visit to our Club. Between the officers, staff and help from our amazing volunteers, the Club is getting ready to open its doors with a fresh new perspective.
Exciting developments are happening inside the Clubhouse with some rooms being completely revamped. We have converted the Arthur Bell Room from an office into a bright new Boardroom which can be used for conferences, meetings, small get-togethers and private hospitality on match days. We are also in the middle of developing a new Café Bar which will allow the Club to be open during the day, 7 days a week, serving wines and beers, fresh tea/coffee and locally produced cakes and snacks.
The Club now has five major annual events planned for the venue in the future. All five will be new annual events that our members can look forward to each year:
- Summer Ball
- Fylde Family Fun Day
- The Great British Gin & Beer Festival (live music and more)
- New Year’s Eve Party
- Sportsmans Dinner
If there are any events you think Fylde Rugby Club should consider please do get in touch. We would love to hear all of your valued suggestions.
Our sponsorship team have been working hard to bring fresh new sponsorship elements and packages and will be working to create beneficial relationships with local businesses throughout the Fylde Coast and beyond to benefit our members.
Finally, we have carefully reviewed our membership subscriptions and created options with added value. We listened to what our members thought about their subscription and the memberships on offer and the main feedback we received was that they didn’t know what they got for their money and felt undervalued.
It is our mission to produce a clear outline of each membership and to also give our members extra benefits and thanks they deserve. We are also working with our sponsors and local businesses to bring you even more added benefits to becoming a member – such as freebies and local discounts which will be available in the near future.
Fylde RFC kindly ask that you check your current membership status and contact the office if you need any help with your renewal or upgrade.
We really value members’ feedback so if there is anything you would like to suggest with regards to events, membership, sponsorship or anything else at Fylde RFC please get in touch
We can’t wait to welcome you back through the club doors on 12th April – and we have something special planned to be announced over the next few weeks
Nigel, Naomi and The Team
