2020 has been an extremely challenging year for everyone. Firstly, the Club would like to thank all of our loyal members for their support to the Club throughout this difficult period with their continued membership, generous donations and time. We are immensely grateful and plan to show our thanks in the near future.
Speaking of the future, I would also like to take this opportunity to reintroduce myself as the new General Manager, and also Naomi Robinson-Dempsey as the new Assistant Manager. Together we are working hard to reinvigorate Fylde Rugby Club.
Naomi and I, are both extremely passionate about the venue and what Fylde Rugby Club stands for, and are determined to bring it closer to our great local community. Alongside our ever important and appreciated volunteers, we are working tirelessly behind the scenes to regenerate your beloved Club, ready to open our doors to the public once again as soon as government guidelines allow us to do so.
We are already working with local suppliers and businesses to greatly improve the current affairs of the Club and we will soon be able to share exciting news and updates with you all. So expect to hear from us on a regular basis with weekly and monthly communication regarding events, membership benefits, local discounts and more!
We are also encouraging our members to have more of a voice and welcome any ideas you may have that you would like to see around YOUR club. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your valued suggestions.
Exciting times are ahead as 2021 will be a year of progress and getting Fylde Rugby Club back to the local venue we all know and love.
Myself and Naomi cannot wait to welcome you all back as soon as we can. We look forward to opening the doors to the public again very soon.
In the meantime, we wish all of our members a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We hope that you and your family remain safe and enjoy the rest of the festive season.
