In a fixtures switch, Fylde Hawks welcome Firwood Waterloo to the Woodlands on Saturday (ko 2.15). The game was originally scheduled to have been played at Blundellsands. The Hawks will be looking for an improved performance on their showing against Sedgley Park 2nds a week ago. The Hawks are in 6th place in the Cotton Traders Premier League whilst their opponents are one place lower.

The teams have met twice this season. On the opening day of the campaign, the Hawks travelled to Waterloo and won 34-52 but lost the return at the Woodlands in early November by 25-26. This unevenness of form has characterised the Hawks season. For instance, an excellent 10-55 win at Sale FC two weeks ago was followed up by the 5-43 setback against Sedgley.

The Hawks line-up is:

15 Henry Pearson; 14 Sam Fisher, 13 John Taylor, 12 George Brookes, 11 Jake Foster; 10 Danny Carlton, 9 Jake Christmann; 1 Andy Stevens, 2 Blake Wilkinson, 3 Adam Joyner, 4 Karl Capstick, 5 Gregor Aitken (c), 6 Joshua Nathan, 7 Jamie Brookes, 8 James Torkington.

16 Tom Fox, 17 Mark Capstick, 18 Kyle McCauley.

15 Samantha Royle; 14 Christian Williams, 13 Gavin Kelly, 12 David Mason, 11 Oggie; 10 David William Reed, 9 Adam Lanigan; 1 Harry Atkinson, 2 Rupert Cobain, 3 TBC, 4 FW Atkinson, 5 Jamie Blakey, 6 Adam Hiles, 7 Jimmy Lord, 8 Jamie Griffin.
