He made his National League debut for Tynedale in September 2015 and made 25 1st team appearances scoring six tries in the process. His performances in 2016-17 earned him a place in the National Two (North) team of the season, drawn from all 16 clubs in the division.
23 years old Henry has held down a regular wing berth in his two seasons at Fylde, in all making 49 1st XV National League appearances and scoring nine tries in the process, seven last season.
Warren Spragg said: “Every club needs its characters and Henry is a big one for us! He brings us a great level of physicality with his confrontational nature on the pitch and I can always guarantee that he will give 100% effort for the team.
“But he is also always the player who gives up the most time to help out with the little stuff like tidying the changing rooms and taking kit off the bus that sets a great example to the rest of the squad. I am really pleased how much he has bought into what we do at Fylde and the level of commitment he shows to the team, and am looking forward to seeing him continue to produce top performances next season.”
Henry Hadfield said: “I’m very excited for this coming season. I think we are all moving in the right direction as a team. It’s a great club to continue to be a part of – everyone from the juniors, supporters, coaches, back room staff and players. Hopefully our results this year will speak volumes about everyone involved with Fylde Rugby Club.”
