Cotton Cup action: message from Vixens Coach Ed Mahon.

“These fixtures are of massive importance to the Vixens. We've worked hard in training for well over a year but it's game-time we all need to progress as individuals, as a team and ultimately to help attract more players.

The fact that we won the first two games was great and really lays down a significant marker for the Vixens, we will be the team to beat now...not bad when you consider some of the girls were playing their very first matches that day!

“The Cotton Cup is a great idea to get new teams involved in the Women's game, which will really grow this year with the Women's World Cup on the horizon. I hope that everyone involved at the club will continue to show their support for the girls now that we have regular fixtures, and to be the inaugural winners of the Cotton Cup would be just rewards for the hard work Jammy and all the girls have put in to get this far.”
