UCLan Update

UCLan Rugby has been very successful this season as both the Men's and Women's teams have made it to the Northern Conference Cup Finals after both teams beat Lancaster University.

The Women's team reached the final for the first time but they had to fight for the win as Lancaster University were dominant in the breakdown. However, tries from Danielle Nash (x2) & Stacey Agnew, and a conversion from Catherine Morley were sufficient for the girls to triumph.

The Men's team have a chance to retain the cup as they won 18-10 at Lancaster University. They now play against Durham 3rds in the Final whilst the Women face unbeaten Sheffield Hallam University 1sts at the University Of York

Also, many congratulations to the Men’s 2nd team for winning their league after beating Warrington University 24-19. The team have been unbeaten all season and many of the players are showing great potential and form to push for a place in 1st team next season.
