The University of Central Lancashire's Mens 1st XV beat Hull University yesterday in the Final of the Northern Confrence cup. The final score was 8-5 in a very competitive game. 

Points scored: Alex Roebuck kicked a penalty in the first half to make half time score 3-0 then a long range try by Andy Deacon 15 min in to the second half took UCLAN to 8-0. Hull came back strong towards the end scoring an unconverted try. This made the final score 8-5 to UCLAN
 
Fylde's Joe Brockbank, Patrick James and John Whittam all featured for UCLAN, with Rob Whittam in the centre for Hull.
