Fylde's National Schools Sevens Tournament, now in its 61st consecutive year, will be held on 13th & 14th March 2010 at the Woodlands.

This major national competition will be, as in the past, a two-day competition with the usual format - leagues followed by the three knock-out competitions. The top two in each group go into the main competition, the next two to the plate and the remaining two into a bowl competition.

Entry will be limited to 48 teams on a first come first served basis.  One of the unique features of this tournament is that it brings together schools from the British Isles to play against schools they do not normally meet in the regular rugby calendar.

The organisers are looking for sponsorship to help the Tournament's administration and marketing. Any interested parties should contact organiser Nigel Pollard directly.
