Fylde's new Child Protection & Welfare Policy

Fylde RFC's Mini-Junior Section has always followed strict child protection policies to ensure the welfare of all young people who play for the Club. Indeed, such policies are a vital ingredient of the Club's RFU Seal of Approval status.

The Club has now agreed and is implementing a new Child Protection & Welfare Policy. This detailed 28 page document edited by the Club's new Child Protection Officer John Roper covers such the following important matters:

  • Recognising Abuse and Poor Practice,
  • Bullying
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Taking Appropriate Action
  • Recruitment and Selection, Coaches and Volunteers
  • Good Practice
