OFFICERS AND GENERAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS 2012-13
1. Nominations for positions on Fylde's General Committee 2012-13 are now invited from Members of the Club and must reach the Secretary by Monday 14th May 2012. Notices inviting nominations went on display in the Clubhouse on Monday 3rd May 2012.
Nominations must be in written form and must be duly proposed and seconded, and must have the written consent of the nominee. A notice displaying the nominations will be posted in the Clubhouse immediately after 15th May 2012. (Click below for a copy of the Nomination Form)
2. Nominations are invited for the following Positions:
a. President
b. Chairman
c. Secretary
d. Treasurer
e. Immediate Past President
The Elected Members will take responsibility for and accountability for the specific areas of the Clubs business. Such areas of responsibility and accountability would include;
a. Chairman of Rugby
b. Community and Rugby development
c. Club discipline - Rugby and other
d. Ladies Representative
e. Grounds and Building Maintenance
f. Club House and Social Events
g. Sponsorship and Commercial
h. Membership – recruitment and retention
i. Mini Juniors
j. Volunteers
k. Press and PR
l. Ladies Rugby
3. Members are asked to note the following extracts from the Club Rules which refer to nominations of Officers and Members of Committee:-
a. Section 8.3 relates to the Election of Officers:
8.3.1 Any Member shall have the right to make nominations with the written consent of a candidate for election to any one or more of the Offices……..etc.
b. Section 8.4 relates to the Election of Committee Members:
8.4.1 Any Member shall have the right to make not more than one nomination with the written consent of the candidate for election as one of the Committee Members ……..etc.
