64th National Schools & Colleges U'18 Sevens, 10th & 11th March 2012
Fylde's famous National Schools 7s Tournament which began in 1948, will take place at the Woodlands Ground on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th March 2012. It will be sponsored once more by Kukri Sports and is now titled 'The Kukri Fylde National Schools & Colleges 7s'
As in the past, the 2-day competition will have a similar format i.e. leagues followed by the three knock-out competitions. The top two in each group will go into the main competition, the next two to the plate and the remaining two into a bowl competition. All games will be played at Fylde's Woodlands Ground.
Because we have decided to retain all games at the Woodlands, entry for 2012 there is a limit of 32 teams. These places were filled some time ago and there is now a waiting list.
There are some top rugby schools included in this year's entry including last year's winners, Filton College. who will be back to defend their title.
