Fylde Senior teams in action on Saturday
Fylde Wanderers face their toughest game of the season when they travel to leaders Sedgley Park in the Bateman BMW Premiership. SP have more or less secured the Championship but want to finish off in style against one of the only two teams that have beaten them this season. They have a 100% home record.
The Wanderers had a fabulous 37-0 win over Sedgley in their first league game of the season. A number of the players who featured that day are either injured (Mark Briggs, Jonny Wilde & Matt Hughes), have moved up to the 1sts (Grant Ferguson, Ali Atkinson & Mark Stephenson) or who aren't available (Reg Whittam, with Hull Ionians, Richard de Carpentier, Greg Johnson).

It's top v bottom when Fylde Saracens entertain neighbours Thornton Cleveleys 1st team at the Woodlands (ko 15.00). The Saracens secured the championship of Miller Homes Two some weeks ago and will have their eyes now on the Hambro Trophy Final on Saturday 2nd May against Wirral 2nds.
Thornton look certain to be relegated at the end of a disappointing season.
--------------------------------
Fylde Vikings will hope to maintain their excellent recent form when they welcome Eccles 2nds to the Woodlands (ko 15.00). The Vikings have won four out of their last five matches and, although still 8th in Miller Homes Three(North), will hope to climb to the middle of the table as they have one or two games in hand of their rivals. Eccles are in 9th place in the division and are also safe from relegation.

Fylde Vandals, 6th in Miller Homes 4 (North), travel to Aspull 1sts who are in 11th place in the division. The Vandals have slipped in recent weeks and have lost four successive matches.
