The Fylde 1st XV play in National League 2 North - level 4 of the English rugby pyramid.
They finished last season in a disappointing 9th position in the table but retained the Lancashire Cup.
This season with the additions of cross code rugby legend Jason Robinson, second row Paul Arnold and a host of youngsters they will be hoping for a more impressive showing.
